Project Cheap

a few months ago i bought a scout roller on here with a homemade chassis it was a good effort but just didnt work rite the setup as all wrong

So i pulled it apart and bought a chassis i have used many times and know it works from here http://www.rcoffroad.eu/rcoffroad-eu/eshop/0/0/5/86-uni-chassis

i had a few buts left over from other builds so first thing as the terrible diffs

The front now is a wheelyking open diff with 500k diff oil in using axial scx shafts and knuckles but scout c hubs this gives a bit better steering

The rear is getting a scx locked diff just in process off making the scout shafts fit in there

gearbox is standard at the moment ith a rc4wd 35t motor

i made the skid plate so all links are inboard and only had to drill 4 extra holes in chassis to get axls sat rite (measurements avalible on request)

ive used all the stock scout links too

suspension currently is a set off traxxas gtr shocks but they are a bit firm but will be working on them soon to soften them up like on my dingo

I have chassis mounted the servo and soon will be making the panard rod  soi can get rid off the bump steer

Any questions just ask im happy to help

current costs so far for this are

I've got a set of small 2.2 tyres mate.

These. http://www.modelsport.co.uk/pro-line-dirt-hawg-i-off-road-1-16-tires-on-titus-bead-loc-wheels/rc-car-products/34377

Would just be the tyres though.

Or, a set of 1.9 ripsaw on axial beadlocks.
