Radio loss

Hi there hope this is in the right place

I have a problem with my radio gear it's 2.4ghz

Good servo an battery everything works great up un till I go to tune the engine an use a screw driver it kills the signal so I have to turn the controller of then back on and it's ok again

Can anyone help thanks phil

Are you saying that when you offer a screw driver up to the engine you loose radio? That would be very strange indeed.

I assume it only does this with the engine running? In which case unless you have a radio active screw driver :) it must be somehow acting as an aerial for interference generated by the coil / plug.

You have some options....

Try a new plug

Try a new coil

Try a different receiver

And if all else fails use a plastic screw driver ;)
