tamiyaspeedfactory
Anyone know where I can find some big bore (12mm wide) springs in 75mm - 85mm in length (uncompressed) ? I have a df02 with some rather nice trf501x shocks, but the 70mm length springs are not long enough even with the stiffist springs its slappy! So I wanna aim for 80mm min with a 12 mm bore width. Thanks in advance. P.s chuck 70mm springs in front for excellent ride height (just right) on reds. Just gotta sort back springs!
Alex97
I think the losi front buggy springs will fit. I'll measure one in a bit. Edited September 18, 2014 by alex97
tamiyaspeedfactory
Its the rear shocks that's very slappy the trf501x rear springs are not long enough to get enough tension
Alex97
It turns out the buggy's shocks are way to small. Try these http://www.dms-racing.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_product_id=9183&virtuemart_category_id=436 on not sure on their length but they should be OK as they are for the St and stc
Alex97
If there to small add some pretty load clips.
tamiyaspeedfactory
Yeah I was thinking of clips but a correct spring length would be preferred. So any truggy / short course fans using 12mm bore shocks that can help out on spring lengths?
tamiyaspeedfactory
Alex97 I had a look at those losi springs, I may give them a try and get the 22t and 22sc sets, but having a hard time sourcing the blue springs

tamiyaspeedfactory
Yeah will do, thanks for the lead and hopefully they be just right. I can see why many give up on the df02 but it can be made sweet
