lazkopat
Alright chaps Im going buy a hpi blitz rtr soon, and I am planning it to keep it stock for now. It comes with a stick pack (7.4v) wwhich I intend to plug into my Unimog crawler. Stick packs cope better when they are submerged in water, at least for me it does Question is that, what 2s lipo rating should I be looking to buy for the stock blitz? According to its manual the stock ESC can take 2s lIPO. Would a 2s turnigy 50C rating be an over kill for it for instance?
Oh How Original
What rating is the ESC? If for example it's 60a, then a 5,000mAh 2s 25C would be fine. mAh x C = Max Amps. In this instance, the LiPo would be putting out 125a which is more than enough, as long as the LiPo can provide more than the ESC needs, then you're fine. lazkopat
http://www.hpiracing.com/en/part/105906 It says: current rating forward 200amp and reverse 100amp?
Oh How Original
You need to find the continous ampage not burst. 200 will be burst I would think.

lazkopat
Alright my next question is does the HPI Blitz need any upgrades or hop-ups or is it fine as in performance wise?
ostewart
It's a good base model, I mainly recommend new wheels of course, and chassis braces, also the STRC Alum steering bellcrank. http://www.dms-racing.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_product_id=4044&virtuemart_category_id=280 http://www.dms-racing.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_product_id=4046&virtuemart_category_id=280 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-STRC-Aluminum-Steering-Bellcrank-Set-Gun-Metal-Blitz-STH103325GM-NIB-/291156331182?pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43ca450aae If you want to go all out, RPM rear arms and ESE front arms stiffen it up. G-Made diaphragm shocks are great too, 93mm front, 103mm rear. I have a Calandra lightweight slipper set for sale too if you're interested.
