Kyosho yz250 spares required if anyone has any

Hi , I'm looking for some spares for my yz250 graupner kyosho.

1) cylinder head set

2) exhaust

Hoping someone might have them lying around , or even have an incomplete bike etc

Can anyone help

hello Richard and welcome to MSUK forum. 

 

 

the kyosho yz250 is a vintage model so parts will be a hard to find thing.

what most of us bikers do is trawl ebay and sites alike looking for the holy grail rc spare/parts

 

i had problems trying to find a headstock unit for a GPV-1 bike, they were discontinued

a few years back, but after some trawling i found a a couple of headstocks in australia.

so it can be worth checking those overseas hobby stores, 

 

hope you find your repair parts and get your vintage bike up and running again, but keep an eye out on ebay and likes

they DO turn up now and then

Hi thanks for replies ... I'll keep checking ebay ... Unfortunately that is the electric version , nitro version is what I have which I believe is a lot rarer

kyosho done a clever kit swap here, they ran an electric yz250 

then they came out with the Nitro version , same bike but totally differnet on mounting.

 

now this is pushing my knowledge and i could be somewhat wrong, but if i remember you couldnt swap over the

mounts, ie couldnt change the nitro to electric.

 

if you dont find anything richard may be worth looking at an electric conversion. see if we can find someone that could knocks up a 

mounting plate so you could bolt on a small brushed - brushless motor, a small battery when the fuel tank would sit and a small L plate to hold battery 

inplace
