catalin4u24
Got this roller off "norcoforever" thanks to Noj who's the daddy of the truck I reckon, who made up our deal. Truck came pretty well specked already so not so much work for me to do, which is good... or is it?! J.K
Looks really good fella, you've done a top job! I think the Proline shocks are next on the list for mine, the stock shocks are......shocking!
Noj
As the original purchaser of this very chassis (as a Rally), it's been great to see her still running, on the Forum and looking rather dapper!

catalin4u24
Yesterday I have received my stuff from dollarhobbyz. 16 days it took them, that's pretty accurate considering I have selected the cheapest delivey option 8-15 days. No customs fee as well, which makes it my 1st ever order from the states without customs charge Got all the ally bits to make this a Ultimate, swaybars and a spare set of wheels. Got also the Esc from them, which is a HongNor rebranded Hobbywing SC8 Waterproof for less then
Noj
Looks very tidy When you fitting snow tracks and an FPV set up
catalin4u24
Changed my mind about the snow tracks, I think it's too mainstream for me. I'm thinking of something more exclusive, haven't decided yet tho'. A plain, a boat, a spacecraft??? a time travelling machine? Who knows... tapatalk

catalin4u24
Thanks guys! Took it for a quick test drive and realised it is extremely over geared with the 18T pinion on 3s. After having a quick look in the manual and seeing that the stock gearing was 13T then it was clear. So I ordered some pinions of Modelsport. This is how it looks like with the electrics on: tapatalk
catalin4u24
I am observing a lot of slop in the steering assembly. I do have a brand new replacement steering assembly set (cheers Norco) but I am not sure that's a long term fix. What options are out there ?? mydoddy69
You can mod the servo spring tension ?? All i did was remove the steering assembly and the remove the spring and inside where the spring sits i added a washer then refitted it .. Its a horrible fiddler job but pays off .. This guy will show you what i mean

Noj
Is it back to running stock gearing over mod 1?
catalin4u24
Yes. It's 32dp now. To be more exact is 13T/54T
J.K
Looks brand new chap, nice work! Cheers for the video Doddy, going to mod the steering on me slash now
catalin4u24
Getting that preload clip in there was easy but putting back that part which holds the spring was a real nightmare I got to say it's better now, not perfect but better nevertheless. tapatalk
