Shady Vapour
Hey guys. Been lurking for a few days but this is my first post. My impression of this forum is really good with so many helpful and friendly people on here. So the story is that I have been into RC's for years (helis , cars etc) but have normally stayed in the budget space. More recently I have bought and upgraded a Ansmann Madrat which is fun but quite frustrating as it breaks if you look at it the wrong way I have now managed to save enough money to venture into some serious toys. Specifically I'm looking at a monster truggy which is as bullet proof as possible. So after some research I have come across the MT4 GT3. I'm in the UK so it costs around

Did consider the ST4 but heard the MT4 has a better build quality and electronics. The MT4 with the right shell is pretty much a truggy which I have been led to believe. jordan_bench10
Yupp mt4 is pretty much bulletproof and basically shares the st1 drive train ( which was as tough as nails )
Shady Vapour
Apologies for all the Q's. I'm about to pull the trigger on one. [emoji1] Does anyone know if it comes with an adapter to connect two batteries together? Reason being I'm planning to run it on 2 x 2S lipos rather than one 4S..... Cheers for the help! Alex97
Had has the st4 and its wants perfect and parts are a nightmare to get. This is as old as time its self and has been done to death a hyper 7, I know its not a truck but parts are cheap and plenty full and they are very well known for their strength. Have a quick look for hyper7 brushless conversion and you'll find loads. If you want a truck then the hyper st simple

Deafty
There is a big difference between the MT4 and and the St. So much so that you will need to decide upon what it is and where it is you want to run your model. If I wanted a dedicated truggy then the St but if I wanted versatility without sacrificing strength then the MT4. I came from a heavily upgraded, modded and converted Bl Trophy truggy nitro to the MT4. fyi. The Mt4 can just go more places whether thats on a truggy setup or monster. handling was better in the trophy though. i contacted modelbau netz last night about the 350 euro MT4 and allready have a response. Sadly this was a mistake on there website their std price is 400 euro) which will be about the same as the UK when you add the extra shipping cost. Sorry for getting your hopes up. MAZ
Are you set on getting a monster truck or would a truggy be a possibility?
Shady Vapour
Not necessarily but I'm leaning towards the MT4....
