ReggieC Posted August 31, 2014 Share Posted August 31, 2014 Hi Guys, Having just been banned on a guitar forum because I said I preferred a different colour guitar to the one a Moderator bought, it got me thinking if any of you lot have been banned for stupid reasons too?! PurcyP Posted August 31, 2014 Share Posted August 31, 2014 when i was airsofting i was a pretty notorious figure on Zeroin forums by the name of MiniSnipa and LtPurcy, i was friendly with the mods hell i knew em in real life as i played with them at the same sites however was banned continuously just for being talkative and riot causing and for being a general moron lmao I was banned once permanently under the MiniSnipa moniker and it caused such an uproar that the mod took it back and unbanned me, watched it all as a guest, was rather funny, didnt last long though still got banned all the time and then again perma which then came back as LtPurcy and now i dont play i still got banned nayway because well.. so yea good times haha Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Si Coe Posted August 31, 2014 Share Posted August 31, 2014 I got banned once from a cycling site because the admin's made a mistake and accidentally unlocked moderator level access for a number of users including myself. My crime was spotting it and telling people (oh and changing a few people posts to imply a few things) - the ensuing chaos as people used their mod powers to randomly delete posts, unlock thread etc was still deemed as my fault. I still haven't emptied my account and every so often get a mail informing me of the fact. Quick reply and I've wasted some human time. I don't know if he said something that got deleted mayb he swore I thought it strange. But I said I'll try and find out why but he said not to bother.
