norcoforever
well after much deliberation i decided to build a truggy, specifically a D8T a truck which i have always wanted and finally today most of the parts arrived, i'm not going mad on hop ups as i knwo the D8 is pretty bomb proof, I have gone for innovative rc diff cases, tekno centre coupler, rc monster brushless conversion, a hitec wp servo, tbr bumpers front and rear with wheelie bar, also being fitted are alloy front spindles and rear hubs along with shock guards. power will come from a castle mamba monster max 2200kv combo and 6s and control from my DX4S

norcoforever
great strong truggy's. 2200kv on 6 that's gonna be rather warm . It's a set up I ran in my d8 buggy with no issues and the same set up that's in the revo and savage hp. I've got loads of pinions so I can really mess with gearing as well. cyronn
A lower kv motor would be better suited in a truggy on 6S, nice choice in truggy though mate

norcoforever
wellgot started on the build tonight and have run into a couple of issues, the first is a wrongly machined centre drive shaft so i have ordered a replacement, next was a rod end which i over tightened and broke lol and finally the stock 50t spur is a very poor fit with the rcm kit so i have ordered the 46t spur, designed for speed i realise however i have decided to go with a hobbywing 150A esc and a tenshock 1700kv motor so loads of torque and hopefully plenty of speed on 6S

Mostly got an alloy servo horn on the way along with a rx box from the vorza as i'm not a fan of the rc monster one. the power plant will be a tenshock 1700kv x812l powered by an xerun 150a esc Where ya get the T-Bones and Wheely Bar? ordered direct from t bone racing in the states http://t-bone-racing.net/ came in 5 days with no customs
