honedanny28 Posted August 27, 2014 Share Posted August 27, 2014 Purchased a quanum vandal roller Upgraded to carbon chassis with carbon top plate +sway bars Turnigy digital 9kg servo planning to get this to 60+ mph possibly more if possible? can anyone recommend a motor/esc combo to achive this,would need to be running 3s lipo,(would 2s lipo reach 60+mph?) Wrighty8766 Posted August 28, 2014 Share Posted August 28, 2014 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201153219045 This setup on 3s will haul ass...it is a 4 pole motor so has around 25-30% more torque than the standard motor than the RTR ftx counterpart comes with, just gear it to suit the correct temps and be aware that this motor might be over revving slightly on 3s (I use it in my rustler vxl and savage xs on 3s without any issues) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
