Cheapest longblock?

My KM came with a 30.5cc engine, apparently they don't last too long so I'm browsing for a replacement in the future, but my question is should I get a longblock ie, CY F270 & use my parts off the KM engine? The carbs are meant to be genuine walbro now? Or buy a complete engine?

From my research it looks like the 27cc engines are favoured for the 2wd baja as they rev higher?

I don't think the carbs are Walbro mate I'm sure a guy posted after buying one from rcmodelz the owner said their clone Walbro. But I've been reading the 4 bolt km engines are much better. But that for

Nice one, I saw that on there site, the slightly used part put me off. Did you buy yours from there too? I wonder why they have them used if so?

That one is used because the first they had was faulty so (they told me) they quickly bench-test all of the ones they get in now to make sure they work before going out to customers.

Mine was second hand but that exact engine and even with it being second hand having done around 10 tanks and I have put another 10 though it, it's still tight and very strong so I wouldn't worry about that being slightly used. At least if it goes wrong you have the backing of a shop and the distance selling laws.

So did they confirm that there is a warranty? If so it sounds perfect! Will it suit a 2wd badger then ?

Thanks.
