Bigjimknickers Posted August 26, 2014 Share Posted August 26, 2014 My KM came with a 30.5cc engine, apparently they don't last too long so I'm browsing for a replacement in the future, but my question is should I get a longblock ie, CY F270 & use my parts off the KM engine? The carbs are meant to be genuine walbro now? Or buy a complete engine? From my research it looks like the 27cc engines are favoured for the 2wd baja as they rev higher? I can't find much info on him tho I have spoken to him and he's a really nice guy he knew I wasn't buying but have me helpful info on my fg monster it turned out it was his friends truck. Mine was second hand but that exact engine and even with it being second hand having done around 10 tanks and I have put another 10 though it, it's still tight and very strong so I wouldn't worry about that being slightly used.
