Is anyone still around the area that would want to meet up sometime? I see there isn't a lot of activity on the FB page at the min but would be cool to meet up with some other people!

Can do bud. What you running?

Me and 4 others normally go out at least once a month but we haven't lately as we've been preparing for bashfest :)

I'm running a Kyosho inferno Mp9 nitro buggy and a Hpi Blitz Flux. I usually just go to a park near me in Oadby but it's mainly flat so anywhere more interesting would be great!

Huncote bmx track is good but nitro won't go down well there.

Our favoured spot is huncote quarry(next to the box track) as you can run anything there without being bothered. Only problem is it's quite a drive from Syston to go regularly lol

Is there nothing near Watermead or Wanlip?

I've been there once with electric on the patch of grass next to the car park (wanlip side) and was ok but it's just flat lol..... Plus not to mention the amount of dogs that tend to want to chase your rc!

Where is huncote quarry? You'll have to let me know when you next go there as it sounds like perfect yeti territory.

Will do bud. Perfect spot for something like a yeti, and you never get bored of going as the layout changes everytime you go.

Don't know how to bring maps up on my phone but if you head for huncote leisure centre, the entrance is 50 yards up the road. Not hard to miss as there's not much there lol.

Thanks. Might have to try to find it at the weekend. I live in Cosby so not far away from huncote.
