As above, they are also difficult to get a Consistent tune and for the real tight stuff they can be difficult to control.

Also it can burn out your clutch really easy!

I love nitro, ive got more nitro models then electric but I find my nitro better for bashing or grip racing where you can just hold the throttle on a corner then stab the throttle on a straight, rather than feathering it round a tight corner sideways :)

Would still love to make a proper nitro drifter just for fun though!

nothing wrong with nitro for drifting. just another form of power to get used to.

 

They are great for the realism factor and if you have a massive open space with proper banks and turns then you can get some seriously cool high speed entries going. 

 

but other than that people have said above, noise, fumes, indoor tracks etc etc
