Tommygunn
I've just bought a Hobbyking X-Car 45A Brushed ESC and, if necessary, I would like to attached a 4x4cm fan to the heatsink. Could someone tell me where is the best place to attach the wires; battery in, BEC out etc? Cheers, Tom.
optimus
I dunno but wouldn't a fan that size be too big?
Noj
Power the fan straight from a spare channel on the Rx
Tommygunn
It's possible the fan will be too big. Also, I was advised elsewhere, that this ESC will hardly get warm when using a 540 motor so the fan may well be pointless. In any case I will probably solder my 12V fan to the BEC outputs or plug it up to the Auxillary on my receiver, probably the former. I only lose about 200rpm with a step down from 12V to 5V. Tom.
