Andythecrane
Hi everyone, I was wondering what your recommendations are apps for android. So I can compile vids for you tube. Thanks Sent from my Hudl HT7S3 using Tapatalk
CyclingSalmon14
None....That sort of stuff can only be done on PC or if you really must a Mac, Android devices don't (Yet - But hopefully soon) have the horse power to edit and compile and render HD footage. Id strongly suggest getting a dedicated editing machine. If your just talking about trimming the odd clip here and there though I am sure some of the hi end tablets running android with the correct app should be able to mange tat fine but as for anything more advanced forget it. Personally with the added benefit of a touch device Id love to use android to edit apps, would just be intuitive you could drag things ware you want and so forth! Would be very fun and efficient! Shame tabs just dont have the horse power yet. BTW I love android in genral, Im not a PC snob, its just a case of correct tool for the job. Thunderwolf
my advice is to get a pc to do it if you want a good job. not seen any apps for android or apple devices that are really any good, no doubt one will come alone eventually though. Andythecrane
My main computer is a Chromebook, I will have to fire it up and see what it can do via YouTube. Thanks Andy Sent from my Hudl HT7S3 using Tapatalk
Andythecrane
Used Youtube editor. Seems easy enough to get something together and up there.

Won't deny that, some of the new tabs are packing some amazing firepower tbh but only just a few, most people won't have these, Nvidia 8" shield for example is a real powerhouse. Never used YouTube editor, but chromebook might be able to do it if you can get a decent app for it...well depends on the chormebook in question, but if you still want to do it properly I'd still suggest a decent PC. Andythecrane
I have still to look for an app on the Chromebook. But the editor within YouTube is good enough to get started with. Just upload to YouTube and edit in private mode. Sent from my Hudl HT7S3 using Tapatalk
