Bowerz
Some people say it's okay, others say not (I see they don't spec it in the original website) and I see videos of it working OK. What are people's experiences? I just had my Killer Lipo turn up and now not sure if I need to upgrade the Losi Servo. I have a savox on the steering and am using the losi on the throttle/brake
Noj
Doesn't matter if the servo is capable of 7.4v, is your Rx? Most are rated to 6v, so a lipo will smoke it.
Bowerz
Yes it is (Spectrum SR300), even if it wasn't I could just run LiPo direct to servo and power Rx with a 5v BEC. I just want to know people's experiences with that servo and running 7.4v either directly or via rx and if it smokes or gives and negative impact on the health of the servo! Feedtheinferno
It will be fine as that is just a savox servo in a different casing.
