Not had a run out for a while, so anyone fancy Temple Newsam on Saturday, about 11-ish.

 

Tried to see if there are any events there, but can't find any, so presume it should be fine

Hope to be able to get something ready - not touched anything since Spen - although, at the moment, heavy rain forecast for Saturday lunch-time. Time for forecast to change before then, though? Hopefully!

Not gonna be able to make this Other than both cars being off the road (TS4N needs clutch bell bag and WR8 needs front drive shaft, both on order but wont be here til next week) the missus has reminded me we have a birthday party to go to so really sorry but will have to be another time

great day if a bit warm, found the cause of the quad mishap the loose connection was on the new lipo from HKing!!!! good job it was only a few props that got broken, crap hk quality control strikes again.

It was a good day with nitro outnumbering electric, I think.

 

Templenewsam suits me fine, although an hours drive each way is a bit of a pain, but I can live with that.

Don't really know of anywhere, although I suppose there must be. I tend to just go where groups go as I feel "vulnerable" on my own - difficult to keep an eye on your gear when you are actually running a car - and all my acquaintances, neighbours, etc are into more "sophisticated" pursuits like golf, squash, tennis and even fencing!

 

I see from older posts that there used to be quite a bit of activity at Nunroyd Park at Guiseley and although I've been and had a look on a couple of occasions, I've never found anyone there. I've read of a couple of lads running electric there, but been reluctant to try my nitros, in case there is a noise problem and it spoils it for them.

 

Anyway, I'm quite happy with an hours drive, as long as I get a few hours in when I get there, so it isn't a problem.
