Stu iles
Stopped running. Seems very tight and won't pull on the pull start Is the engine seized?
Andythecrane
could be, open it up and have a look around inside?
Stu iles
That's the next job I guess What am I looking for in particular?
Nitroholic
Take the cooling head off, then remove the head button. Look for metal shavings, scoring, and whether the piston still won't move with no compression. Also worth taking off the backplate and checking out the flywheel/conrod if you can't see anything from the top

behappy2755
Might also be the clutch, look at that too
Anthoop
I am yet to see one of these little engines seized, I would not think it is possible due to the tapered liner. As said...head off...backplate off...if everything looks ok...... Then...liner out...piston/rod out....spin the crank...bearings? Edi- at least parts are cheap...basically a new engine for small money... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HOBAO-HYPER-7-21-3-port-piston-and-liner-with-con-rod-inc-free-crank-case-NEW-/251585752847?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item3a93adef0f Edited July 21, 2014 by Anthoop

Stu iles
Finally got around to looking Liner was scored and piston was catching when it was at its lowest point Bought another engine off here, stripped and added pull start mechanism from old one and other bits that were needed Fitted it all, started after a dozen or so pulls Just need to tweak a little Chuffed as never done before and it worked It is hard work being a big kid
