Project: Campermog-cc01

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone!

Well, it's finally here! My Tamiya cc01 Unimog arrived today from modelsport uk.

My idea for this is build a Unimog campervan, I intend to do this by building the chassis normally (but with a few hop ups) and then cut the cab section from the body and replace the rear pick-up bed with a 3d printed camper section. So to get the project started here's my unboxing video, enjoy.

Just watched your second video, it looks great in white with the white wheels.

My unimog kit arrived in the week and I too am planning to paint it white (I think) to replicate the edf energy unimog that I nearly crashed my car into 3 years ago in 2 foot of snow!

I'm undedicated as of yet though as they look good military green too :/

Can't believe it, I completely forgot about this thread! Updates, updates updates.........Urmmmmmm.......... Well the mog is complete but I need to do the camper section. I decided to ditch the 3d printing idea because it was too expensive and instead I'm going to model it out of styrene, that will probably happen around October due to some other projects taking priority.
