I have been playing for (mmm) maybe 6 weeks (Xbox)...around 1700 battles....I am pretty rubbish at it...but do have fun. My biggest gripe with this game is that you can not choose a specific game server...and "sometimes" you can be put into a game where your team are either, all legends (and you do not even get a look-in) or all spamming instructions and the match is over within a few minutes.. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Thunderwolf Posted June 19, 2014 Share Posted June 19, 2014 i've played on the pc until my laptop died and this one isn't man enough for it. now play on 360 and while i do lik ethe game its not one i like playing for very long for the following reasons: the upgrade set up doesn't allow you to pick what gun you want, you are stuck with presets only getting the upgrades take forever to get the exp, then more so once you need the money. getting gold and other stuff that stops the above becomes nothing more than a money pit and why i say the game is a "free to play, pay to win" game. not helping the progress is the matchmaking often sits me in with people who are either very good or very bad, with the former everything is over before i get a shot off, with the latter i'm dead before i get a shot off getting into a game is hit and miss, it can be afew seconds or i could be in the joining queue for 5mins you can only play together with 3 friends, none of my mate play it anyway so thats not such and issue, but its still dumb once you tank is maxed out it mor eor less totally useless unless you want to be paying for the gold you need to convert the exp to be used on any tank. I've not played since last april (18 months ago) as when my misses moved over from Germany she kinda pilled loads of stuff on my PC / PC desk and I've not been able to get to it since... I am waiting for the android version Also played World of Warplanes during alpha and beta and I can't wait for World of Battleships!!! I will try to look at at few of your things.. I never played it on a PC...so the package thing does not bother me....nor should it you...everyone is in the same boat....but yes it is annoying to have to use a rubbish gun just to make your tank faster...or vice versa A maxed out tank can be useful if you are looking to train a crew...and you are good in that tank/or it has the potential to earn points... Match making ...I think the correct word is "sucks"...the whole gaming server/host thing seems very odd to me..but I still find it fun to get that near 50% average.. If a player has a VK 30.01 (H), a VK 30.02 (M) will be added to their garage with a slot and a crew with 100% skill for free. Mounted equipment will not be added to the VK 30.02 (M). Those items will remain with the VK 30.01 (H). Any ammunition loaded on the VK 30.01 (H) will be refunded and replaced with stock ammo. If the user has the VK 30.01 (H) unlocked, then we automatically research all packages 0 through 5 (the necessary packages leading up to the VK 30.02 (M)). My interest in this game has waned a little...I tend to mainly play two tanks that (sometimes) are fun for a brief period, the M5 Stuart and KV1...
