arogon1235
well its about time i post what im going to be doing to bumble bee v2 after this years event, its simple more power, longer, stronger and faster. my goal is to make bumble bee v3 go over the 160mph barrier and eventually the 200mph barrier. the plan is to get rid of all of the castle leccys and replace them with MGM and Lehner leccys, yes they may be expensive but i know they can hold up to the stresses of going this fast. the car is currently in its design phase with only a hand full of CAD drawings, but i already know how everything is going to be put together and made. now on to the parts list: 3x hardend steel spur gears= Edited August 27, 2014 by arogon1235

Baja 5b
gcse they are not as hard as you think So true, cool project, Wish you luck with it. Seems to me that with on-road speed projects grunt isn't the limiting factor it's down-force/controllability. Thanks Rated 5 stars.

Alex97
This is a lot of money spend for someone your age on a project that won't actually benfit in anyway. Why not put all of your time into one project and reach your targeted speed before moving onto another one.

At least he's spending it on something he enjoys and will probably learn a lot from building it. AT least he's not spending his money on Booze, fags and drugs like me ( I'm joking ..just booze and fags!)

lowen93
I had a feeling it was single gloss, the first time I bought carbon fibre I thought it was quite reasonably priced til it turned up and I realised it wasn't gloss on both sides

I do kind of agree on the project bit though oh well, individual choice

Also not to be offensive to him, but he's reset his goal like 4 times now... I think the only thing stopping him hitting it, is him. wise words

Alex97
Of course you got me. I have been bought up to know the meaning of money and how to save not just spend it willy nilly.

However, I do think that you'd get a lot more positive replies if you set yourself a reasonable goal (100mph for example) for the car you had set-up, shouldn't really have been much of a problem and then after you'd hit that goal, aim higher. If you can't hit 100mph, you aren't going to go above that speed. I hope you do, but you had a decent car set-up that was looking like it would smash 100mph and now you've changed it entirely for something completely new that may not work Sorry again if I sound offensive or harsh or whatever, it's just how I see it.
