Yorkcolin
Hi. Newbie question I'm afraid. I bought a Thunder Tiger Tomahawk BX a couple of weeks ago and the pull starter chord has snapped. Have bought a replacement but struggling to get the casing for the pull start off the engine to replace the chord as there are a number of other screws in the way. One option looks to be to take the engine off but not sure this is a good thing. Has anyone replaced one of these before on this model? Do I need to take the engine off to replace or is there a knack to getting it off without? All help gratefully received

Yorkcolin
Cheers Jordan. Managed to get it off. Now the spring! How do you attach one end to the inner spool AND attach it to the outer casing? Manage to wind it onto the spool but can't find the knack to attach the other end. Is there a technique in missing?
