Scratch built Series 1 Landy resumed.

Over the past few weeks I've been contemplating finishing this off and today I decided to clean up my desk and make some space for my building materials.

Found all my old stuff and figured I'd have a crack at finishing it off.

So not sure if anyones interested in a thread but figured I would start one anyway.

It won't be super to scale, definitely not going to look a 'show off' piece, but hell, I just love building stuff like this!

Here is what it looked like last time I did anything to it.

Looks good for scratch are you going to extend the bonnet or chop the windscreen down. Hemistorm did something similar its amazing what you can do with plasticard good luck man.

May chop the window frame a little as it does look a tad too tall, but to be honest I'm doing it just for fun and something to do over actually wanting it 100% perfectly to scale.

Yeah I saw what Chris did, I liked his quite a lot.

I fancy doing the Tomb Raider Landy one day, it looks a beast.

You could, but if memory serves me correctly, 1:10 chassis's aren't actually 1:10, for example the RC4WD D90 hard body is about 1:8 in reality, not 1:10.

Judging by the wheelbase and overall length of it.

You're much better off just building it to fit whatever chassis you have planned for it, then you know it fits.

The ACTUAL scale, doesn't matter if it's just for your own use.
