Anyone like 1/12th?

West Kent radio controlled car club recently had a 2 day event for 1/12th scale. (http://www.wkrcc.co.uk)

Really nice track, they race touring cars and mini's too on regular club meetings. 

 

I used to race there many years ago.

I keep fancy trying the gt12 class at our club as its the most popular class and doesn't cost as much to maintain. But they are just so slow compared to 13.5 boosted so I don't think I'll bother.

I am not that keen on pan car racing, but must admit they can look very quick with the right motor in them!

 

Give me a touring car anyday or a mardave for giggles!

i love pan cars, 12th, WGT, and f1 are great fun, the drive SO nice its hard to go back to TC

Yeah, I assumed he meant gt12 such as supastox.

The associated 12th pan cars are like lightning and just stick to the track.

I raced at that event, first time at the club, nice friendly atmosphere, Good cheap food too. would like to go again. 12th Pan cars are so nice to drive.

It's a great facility, well worth going to even on a club day.

Ive got a rc12r5.1. I love it. Goes like a rocket but its in bits at the mo after an off, oops, and im struggling to find parts for it to sort it.

Its a quick car though, will get some pics of it up in a bit, shell less and servo less at the min

Forgot to say, i also have a schumacher supastox which has only just been finished, i like the supastox for the close racing but it is slow compared to my pan car
