NuttyProfessor Posted April 20, 2014 Share Posted April 20, 2014 Tamiya zakspeed capri is a TT02 chassis so at max I reckon 4000kv would be ample if you go brushless on 2s, if you want to run the stock esc, you wont have many options because of the turn limit so if you want to stick to brushed, an Etronix Pulse would do with a hotter motor (15 turn max) Ive got the TT02-B Chassis with a 10.5 turn Team Epic D3 Monster Power motor with a Turnigy Trackstar Turbo 120a esc, oodles of power but still driveable. vibrating_cake Posted April 20, 2014 Share Posted April 20, 2014 (edited) If you go for the etronix probe, do yourself a favour and get the etronix probe wp. does the same things but does everything better I was not impressed with the standard probe but for the extra 5 quid that puddle you didn't see is no longer a problem I use the above brushed suggestion on my df02 (buggy version of yours ish, not much different.)
