But... Will it be safe to do so? And I can't find one in the UK so need some help locating one. Shudson Posted April 16, 2014 Share Posted April 16, 2014 I would be surprised if you find one in UK as it would be very hazardous in use because of the risk of the two crocodile clips coming into contact with each other. I wouldn't use such a device and certainly not while I was driving. However, if you must have one, you can get the cigar lighter plugs, crocodile clips and suitable wire to make your own. Personally, I would make up a cigar lighter lead with a suitable socket (Deans, etc.) and put a matching plug on your heater.
