Syncro
Kyosho HOR (Hang on Rider) Mick Doohan NSR500. Bought prebuilt so need to strip it and paint it then sort some electrics. Have to say, pretty cool considering they're from the early nineties.
Smokein Joe
I've still got my Suzuki RGV which I bought in 1999. I've not long sold the Honda NSR I got a couple of years later, very nice bikes and fun to build. I think they do still make them as they are available new in at least the US and Aus, but nobody imports them here anymore.
Syncro
RGV is possibly next on the list. I think the NSR has possibly been re released. Considering how old these are the quality and design is pretty impressive.
Syncro
Now got an RGV to go with the NSR. Has been painted previously then looks like it's been prepped and primered. As an added bonus it's got a few upgrades, metal gears and upgraded rear shock. But, it looks to me like it's never been run. Happy days! Smokein Joe
Nice one. The lower fairing on the RGV is a better fit than the one on the Honda, which I found needed to be secured with a rubber band as it tended to come adrift.
Syncro
I planning on making a start on the NSR tonight. I'm sort of planning on having one bike as a shelfer/ gentle runner and one as a proper runner. I'll use the RGV frame as it's got the upgrades but I'm not sure weather to use the Suzuki body for the runner or the Honda body work. My other idea is to maybe see if I could adapt one of my spare Venom GPV1 clear body sets I've got. Would make it far more durable.
Samuran
I think it looks better as a street fighter!

Smokein Joe
Are these easy to drive? I can imagine all they want to do it fall over!! Like real motorcycles, once they're moving they stay upright.
Syncro
Bikes do take a bit of practice, but when it clicks they are brilliant. Much more involving than a car/ buggy etc.

Syncro
Bit of an update. Got the NSR painted now, stickers were a right pain but worth the effort. Just got to decide on esc now and get the rider figure sorted.

Syncro
First run with the "HOR" Running longer scratch bars than normal just for safety. Not a huge amount of grip.
RaceRex
You've done a great job on this mate, looks great just not the best grip like you said
