Gaz!

Recommended Posts

hi all,

so i have decided to start this thread to show off your vintage rc or retro rc such as re-re tamiyas, original release stuff from days gone by etc. if this proves to be a popular thread then there is the possiblilty is a dedicated section like the sub sections down the forum.

so please get some pics up and a little info about the model and mods you have done or plan to do......

i have 2 to include but need to get some decent pics first.

Standard motors

ESC runs both, kept the power switch (Parallel/series)

9kg servo on each axle

Cheap shocks and a shock drop bracket

Alloy plate on the underside

Not modified, just made better

Here's my Tamiya Thunder Dragon. I had one when I was about 15 when they were new, got back into the hobby and had to get another. Still needs a few parts but mostly build with new re-re parts. Uses an old msc and standard silver can motor:

it would fit in fine mate, i started this thread for the sort of thing a lot of the tamiyas fall into, there not really a specific rc, unless theres a fun section :xd:  :xd:
