cyronn
What are you going to be using it for ? Welcome to the forum.
wangerman69
For a buggy I am using the good old Team Associated b4.1, still competitive at my club. in 2wd most people are running these or Losi 22's For 4wd a few have the new Schumacher cat K1 (very nice but a bit nose heavy) and Associated B44.2's. There are a couple of others who runs Ansmanns and and alike but the hardcore group run with the above. All this is 1/10th scale mind As above depends on the usage For Bashing I use my FTX Carnage Truggy if you want a cheap bash buggy you can get an FTX Vantage The world is your oyster depending on allowable funds etc Edited June 11, 2013 by wangerman69

wangerman69
For Example in 4wd It can be as cheap as this http://www.modelsport.co.uk/ftx-vantage-1-10-4wd-brushed-buggy-rtr/rc-car-products/40387 Or as dear as this http://www.modelsport.co.uk/schumacher-cat-k1-pro-1-10-off-road-4wd-assembled/rc-car-products/371892 Bearing in mind the Schumacher is only a roller so another

wangerman69
Well this is about as cheap as Nitro gets http://www.modelsport.co.uk/ftx-carnage-nt-1-10th-rtr-4wd-nitro-truck/rc-car-products/369461 Again in 1/10th scale so a bit oddball size wise Here's a link to every Nitro model available on Modelsport currently http://www.modelsport.co.uk/rc-nitro-models/rc-car-categories/9900/990015 Edited June 11, 2013 by wangerman69

You are more than likely right but we need a budget idea first To be honest Nitro is not my forte so will butt out from here
cyronn
You are more than likely right but we need a budget idea first To be honest Nitro is not my forte so will butt out from here Nitro is not my thing to but he's asking for a buggy. Have a look at Mugen MBX7, Kyosho MP9, DNX408, Serpant 811, S-Works 350, Hot Bodies 812, Xray XB9 are the top ones I can think of.

cyronn
I did have the DEX408, which is the electric version of the DNX408 and I loved it. Had to sell it as I needed some cash at the time, regretting that now though.

xHaldenby81x
Iv had loads of teething problems with my team c stoke n rtr but it's only really loos screws and the like really that I thort was tight after checking :-/ need a new 2.5 hex drive tho, think it's going to be a great car once sorted tho
fatboyneil
The problem is you got the rtr version and as most rtr cars are their only lightly put together they always need stripping and rebuilding
Trickkydikky
Mp9 is prob the best buggy out there at the mo, the team associated rc8.2 is excellent also. If your planning to race it go to your local club n see what everyone's using n give you a better idea. Most popular at the moment at my clubs are rc8.2, losi 3, s works and the d812
xHaldenby81x
Sorted my teething problems with my team C stoke n now touch wood and dam she's a belter got a new 15t clutch bell today from the standard 16t and fitted that! I'm sure she's going to do great round the track if the driver is good enough lol bit sloppy on back end so diff oil needs re doing but hey ho as the man says rtr always need fiddling with to get right but she's a beauty
