I have thought about one but the only thing that puts me off a bit was the lack of spares.

Maybe I was looking in the wrong place but I couldn't find much mention of spares in the UK?

Yeah, you are right about that but I don't mind to order them from .... whatever. Only drawback is the time they arrive and the fact that postage fees may be higher... Anyways.. if I brake it I will just order more parts at a time .. upgraded parts to be exact.

Yeah. first impression is .... well... I'm impressed to be honest.

Looks good, solid. I didn't even turned it on and changed the servo with a 9kg MG power hd, fixed my radio on it. Brand new road wheels, looks good but quite small on it

I love it, just love it.

Massive suspension arms, well built, a lot of alloys on it, now I just have to wait for my second 2s 6000mah 50c lipo from hobbyking to put the 4s on it. The car works now on 2s, seems pretty fast, didn't try it outside cause its snow and its not waterproof...

I'll let you know how it goes!

All in all, I'm a happy guy .... for now

Am i right in thinking then that if you hook up 2 x 2s batteries this equals 4s ?

Didnt know whether it would still be 2s just twice as long run time

You're right, 2x2s = 4s (connected in series) or you can connect them in parallel and you'll have a 2s with 12 000mah

Very strong, and very fast.

Very strong - mine went into a Frozen to the ground housing brick at WOT when ky mate hit ice and lost control. only damage was a cracked side gaurd and it popped out a driveshaft which is a literally two second fix.

Does most of the aerial stay under the body?

Looks like a short stub sticking out by the window in one pic yet lots more wire with the top off.

In the pic with the top off, was the stock radio. In the pic with the top on it is my Carson Reflex Pro 2 radio mounted and the receiver has a very short aerial but a very good range though.. You have a hawk eye dude

Yeah, long... very long. It is sold already anyway.

Today I took this sucker out to get it dirty. All went well, I was surprised to see that I had an almost 45min of total runtime with a single 2s lipo . The speed though.... on 2s is quite slow, let's say... very slow. But when I went back home the battery's twin brother from hobbyking was expecting me in a box . So now I have a proper 4s system to put the car to a test.

The Ansmann Racing tarmac wheels are a quite hard compound but they have pretty good grip. I don't think they have any kind of foam... doesn't look like they have. In this case they must be good for some speed runs cause there's no tire ballooning involved whatsoever...

Remember that cage witch makes the car look quite toyish ?

Well, that cage kept 95% of mud and dirt away from the electronics so I call this a WIN

At the end of the day I must say that I love this buggy.
