.AJ. Posted November 6, 2012 Share Posted November 6, 2012 (edited) Ive just got myself my first tank, i fancied a scale project with a difference for over the winter and this fitted the bill. She is a Heng Long King Tiger All stock with plastic gearbox, gears and tracks, the gearbox's, sprockets and idlers will be upgrade at a later. Posted November 6, 2012 Author Share Posted November 6, 2012 (edited) Depends how far you wanna go, I've got the very basic version because I'm going to upgrade the gearboxes, idlers and spockets to asiatam's, which are bomb proof, ball raced and better than the heng long versions, this way I'll hopefully have a better than pro spec for not a lot more money Edited November 6, 2012 by .AJ. Because for me personally, the German AFV`s of the second world war are alot more interesting than most of the allied AFV`s. There are some exeptions tho. igbandy Posted November 6, 2012 Share Posted November 6, 2012 (edited) The heng long fires plastic balls. The Tamiya`s dont, as they are equipped with a flashing LED for tank battling. A video of my Tamiya Tiger 1 on the day I got hold of it The Tamiya Tiger 1, has IMHO got the best sounding MFU on the market.
