Pick it up next week. 1999 Discovery TD5 low millage and 2 owners from new.

Theres not a mark on it.

Been for a test drive and it dont drive like the rangie but just cant live with the 9mpg anymore.

This disco will save us over 100 quid a month just in fuel alone lol

Ill update this thread when its here and anything i do to it

I would of just got a LPG conversion.

Did look into it but just not cost effective for me. And theres not many garages round here that do LPG.

It would cost nearly as much do have a proper conversion done on the rangie as ive paid for the disco

My old man put LPG on his range rover , that was petrol and he brought the kit off ebay fitted it his self and then had to go to a garge to give the ok that it install right , he had to lose his rear wheel but on the disco they are on the outside which is a plus , with the LPG his gain 100 miles more out of a a tank and it seemed to run better on the gas , i would say keep an eye on the little window on the roof and i have heard of some of them leaking

Had a disco once never again.

So have i. never put a spanner on the car in 5 years other than a service. 100% reliable

but a friend had one that spent more time at the main dealers than on his drive.

Just have to hope you get a good one lol
