He put in a pair of new HiTec 5755 servo's and took it out on the track, did half a lap, landed it heavy and snapped the end off the center diff/spool. He took it home, took the engine out to go in his Baja and stuck the Hurrax in the garage.
So I he asked for £85 for the rolling chassis, including the 2.4 radio, and £25 for the pair of as new Hitec servo's. I didnt beat him down, I just paid the man! He just wanted rid.
With the broken Spool costing about £15 to replace from Germany, all I have to do is straighten a couple of bits of alloy, stick in one of my engines and a throttle servo and she will be ready for the track £125 for a very pretty car!...... Well I think its pretty under the shell anyway!
Would have taken more pics but the batts failed in the camera, well they have been on the edge for weeks and two flashes sealed their fate!
