Not a buggy, but I really like the look of these Thunder Tiger MT4 G3's. The video link on the left of the page is pretty good. Real bruisers.

I run an inferno VE, i would go for the race spec if you have the cash, you get metal hop ups that you dont get with the standard chassis and i do agree that parts are bloody expensive. I had to buy a new chassis, kyosho SP chassis's are £80 but ive now replaced the original one with a dragon racing CNC lightened chassis for £23 off ebay and its brick solid. Many hyper parts fit so definately look into it. I love my VE. spent about £150 on upgraded electronics and upped the pinion size plus ive changed the diff oils so the front end dont spin up as hard, handles like a dream and keeps up with pretty much anything in speed and handling, last clocked at 62mph on 48/19 gearing on 5s (stock setup only takes 4s which is plenty for most people to be completely honest) so i highly recommend the inferno VE. sorry for the essay.........

+1 on that one it is nearly the same as the mt4 g3 which is tough as bricks and it is suitable to run on 6s but I own a inferno ve and the esc just died on me but it is still a great car.

Luigino, thanks for your input on the Inferno ve,much appreciated. Also thanks Apexx, good to hear you would recommend the Thunder Tiger even though you own a Inferno.I posted a similar question on another RC Forum and as expected i'm hearing conflicting opinions on this two Models, right now it seems a flip of a coin can only decide if it's the Kyosho or Thunder Tiger? I know it's not mega bucks but i'd rather spend £400 with no regret's.

Luigino, some more advice needed mate.I've bought the Inferno ve,very happy   This thing moves! I'm running it with two Team Orion Rocketsport 7.4v,4200mah lipo's and i get around 15-20 mins runtime, mostly full throttle.Any experience with a lipo that may give more runtime? This is a crazy Model out of the Box

Just get a bigger mah battery fella, can get a 5600mah in there, id chop the end of the battery tray out and use a single 4s pack instead of 2 seperate packs, better on weight. Im running an 18t pinion but run around a 15t and keep an eye on the temps :)

Mate,i understand the weight difference but does one 14.8v 4s 5000+mah,as oppose to two 7.4v 2s 4200mah give me more than 15-20 min run time? Also, where are you finding the best sites for parts,ie:a choice of pinion gears? And lastly  What other Kyosho model does the inferno ve share the exact same parts with?

The more mah, the more runtime. I get 30mins or more out of my 5000mah packs, also its how you have your ESC set up, less timing and less acceleration power will help the run times. Any 5mm mod 1 pinion will do, novak and RW pinions are some of the best, just mesh it right. The VE is supposed to be near identical to the MP 7.5, 777 and maybe a few more, i think some hyper 7 parts fit too like knuckles and suspension parts, not sure on the drivetrain.
