i think t-bone may do them(they do bumpers)

on mine the bumpers are big and act like skids as they cover/protect the diff area's

will get some pics of my st/e pro later on as i need batteries for the camera

cheers

been out with the st/e set up with a cc 2650 motor and mmm controller with a mighty turnigy nano-tech 6000mah 45-90c 5s pack and it is absolutelynuts

with a 18t pinion and 52t spur and grinder tyre's on loose gravel

although great fun for a bit i had a cartwheel at about 40mph and it rolled for ever(but didn't break)

really happy with this truggy but must switch back to the 2200 for 5s

How much were the turnigy lipo's?

And get some pics up lol, I wanna see your set up!

i got that lipo off this forum for 30-40 quid but can be had from hobbyking at roughly the same price

and if you get it from the german whare-house you will avoid those dreaded import fee's

will get some pics up soon just need some batts for me camera

oh and will be going back to the 2200

cheers

I've got a couple of pics of my nearly finished Brushless Hyper ST

20120409_173202.jpg

20120409_172745.jpg

20120409_172813.jpg

I'm running it with:

hobbyking 150a ec

Leopard 2000kv 4274 motor

5000mah 20c lipo's (bit low on the c rating but will be upgrading very soon)

Power HD 1501 servo

Hobbyking GT2 radio gear

Its got Mugen MBx6T sideguards and a Losi battery tray. i've also got some hub extenders on it too, i'm also using a 46t spur gear with a 16t mod 1 pinion.

The shocks are Hobao 20mm big bores with Hong Nor big bore springs (stiff/hard) with 55wt shock oil.

The stock shell doesnt fit very well because of the sideguards

20120409_174126.jpg

However, my old Ansmann Kryptonite shell is a much better fit - its a bit of a mess though (I just didnt have the heart to throw it away lol)

I had some replacement diff gaskets left over from when I sold my Kryptonite. I thought they were Mugen ones but it turns out their Losi gaskets. These should fit the front and rear diffs almost perfectly.

Just need a receiver box and i'm ready to go!

I have a Hyper ST converted to Brushless.

I used the RC-monster brushless mount and battery tray, and the battery tray for the Traxxas Stampede. For ESC I took the Hobbyking 150A, and for the motor I used a Castle 1518 1800kv motor. I normally run it on 5S.

Hi maz,

Yes it is, snapped a few ST bumpers doing backflips so i just gave up on them and wacked a 7 on there, needs abit of modding to fit and doesn't offer as much shell protection but it does the job.

wow that's a low amount of time

my mmm is set to 3.4v lvc and i get at least 25 mins out of a 5s 5000 25-50-c nano-techs but i have a 2650kv cc in there at the mo and the 1800kv willl draw much more power from the lipo's

with my buggy i get 30-35mins out of a 4s 6000 35-70c nano-tech

with the savage i have twin 3s 5000 30c zippy packs and 2200kv mmm and that will last 25-30 mins

cheers

I can drive longer with my ERBE or Vorza too, but not with the Hyper. I never timed it with my Trophy. Could be a gearing issue. Also the surface I run on has an impact. I can run much longer onroad for instance.
