Hi all took the baja out today and it's -1. It started and ran fine until a very small rollover then it bogged and died. This was after about 5 mins. Checked everything over and it did start but not willingly and everytime I hit the throttle it died so readjusted the needles and it was ok. Had a rollover at about 1mph and the same thing happened. So readjusted everything and it's been perfect since but I haven't rolled over. Neither roll was bad so why did it affect the engine? Is something liable to be broken or loose? Any help appreciated.

Did you check for a exhaust bung?
Dirt clogs up the exit of the pipe sometimes in a roll over.

It was such a small roll and I run windows and 5t roll bar how could it of damaged the coil? And it was running 100% after tuning. The exhaust was clear from what I remember.

Did you let the engine die whilst it was upside down?

Mine tends not to like being flipped to much, not sure why but it floods easily like that. Remove the spark plug, let the fuel evaporate overnight and come back to it tomorrow. Hopefully it should be well?

The engine did die. It was ok After a full retune however whilst upside down I did blip the throttle and then it died. Does it sound as though my engine is ok?

Sounds like it may have run out of fuel whilst upside down or you got a ice bung

The running out of fuel would make sense but why Would it bog under throttle? Or is that a sign of flooding?

have you checked the air hole in the fuel cap? can get blocked, cause of a lot of engine running problems.

It defo isn't running lean. I think everyone is missing the thing that after the second roll and a small tweak she ran perfectly. I was more wandering why it went wierd after the roll. Is it more likely I flooded it??

that wouldn't explain the bogging though, unless i ran it out of fuel and flooded it. it seems to of shown all the signs of being flooded.is there anyway i could of done both?

spoke to my dad who knows a hell of a lot about 2 strokes and tbf most of you were right basicallly he explained to begin with it was ok as it had come out of a warm car after the roll it was starved of fuel and died but due to the engine not beng warmed up and it being -1 the whole unit got freeing so when i was trying to start etc the cold air was stopping it. once it had idled and warmed a little it was better the second roll was not much later around 5mins so it cooled almost immediately meanig the same issues. after it had idled and warmed up it was fine as it was back upto temperature so nothing is actually wrong was just a case of the engine not being warm, being starved and it being so damn cold. big thanks to eveyrone who tried to explain its really appreciated as i was worried
