Does anyone know how to make/where to buy a snorkel? I've seen them on rc4wd, but at £20 for a piece of plastic I decided that was too much!

hosepipe! up outta the shell, foam inside maybe?

cut up an old filer to fit ;)

check out this guy, i bought the last one but he makes them so guess just give him a pm and he'll let you know. and for 2.50 u cant complain.. i had been searching for a snorkel but at almost £20 i cant justify it for a bit of plastic

That guy looks like he sells some interesting stuff at a reasonable price, thanks for the link! If he doesn't have any more though I'll try and make one :)

he makes a few, sells them then makes more i think so keep an eye out ;)

im sure thats the disco featured on the kamtec ebay shop and i can make most scale items

Those are good looking snorkels! I especially like the milliput one, so will probably go with that. Thanks for your help :)

yep it sure is, i built it when he 1st did the mold an sent him pics to help him sell them when he released them i even got the decals made but think hes using diffrent ones on his, .

no probs easy to make just leave them to dry on a peice of plastic ontop of rad to dry, you can wet the millyput to help you form it abit like using clay.. i screwed mine on from inside the wing with very fine screws or you can use silicone etc ..good luck making one i even built scale jerry cans from styrene theres an how to on tamiyaclub still i think... even making a hi-lift jack is easy.. i wont buy any scale stuff ever again lol i did a chainsaw to from odds an sods ..
