i fixed up the suspension today and the front suspension arm, gave it a clean and set up the camber, tuns nice and smooth, will be doing a gps speed run for ya tomorrow ;) any requests for videos, pictures or anything similar let me know, ill be bumping this for the next 5 days ;)

Here's a few pictures of my very budget set up, some detailed ones in there XD

I have 22.3 mph (giver or take 1mph) on the gps speedo I want to increase this, i understand that can be done by increasing the pinion size, i have a 21T pinion in at the moment, what could i increase it to without risking any electronics?

You dont have to edit your first post to add new info and then add a bump post.

Just put new info in a reply.

I run a 22t pinion and installed a lipo battery and that instantly increased the power 2x than nimhs. Otherwise what limit is on the esc? Otherwise upgrade the motor

I'm ran a 19t clash and was getting 32mph out of it. Pretty much standard apart from the lipo and full ball raced.

the battery in one of your pictures doesn't look very powerful, 2000mah nimh? if you had a lipo 4500mah then it should go quite a bit faster if your esc is lipo compatible. if it isn't then these are ment to be good http://www.ebay.co.u...=item33687566a5

Before getting brushless I would advise going lipo.
Lipo is the key to unbridled power. :D

Yeah I would advise buying the little bits now then its not as much as a shock to the bank when you go brushless.

get a lipo or 2

then in a few  weeks charger and the appropriate connector

don't forget a cheap metal safe with some shallow sand and holes drilled in it to store the lipos.

have fun :)

its a good job i already have a safe! so for lipos how much speed increas could i expect, and if i go up a tooth or 2 on the pinion

It gives more punch and will give instant power where as nimhs run out faster and tend to loose there oomph a lot faster.

An if you go up a pinion it would be noticeable it was on the mad rat bit slower off the line but a just kept going.
