These look excellent. I was wondering what Maverick would do once HPI adopted the Atom for there own and re branded it. I can't wait to get one. Hopefully we'll get a boat load of alloy upgrades etc :D

Oh they are himoto cars. Well himoto offer brushless versions so I guess it can take brushless in some form.

i think you will find that all the mavericks are himoto cars.

not really. i was saying that all there cars are the same. he was talking about the new 1/18th scale cars??

maybe that was because this thread is about the 1/18 ones? dont remember it saying about the blackout or strada?

I was just saying it in general, sorry to cause any confusion. I didn't know and I was kinda surprised. From what I have seen they are pretty decent and I don't really associate Himoto with pretty decent XD.

Himoto brushless model also claims to have waterproof electronics, no mention of that on the mav but it all looks identical

It also retails for around £90 (brushed I assume, polish website)...why can't we get it here???????

I really like these lil Mavs!! But I dont have a space to run them in, I'll stick to the 1/10ths for now.

Why would you want to, when the Mavericks have much much better spares and warranty suupport? They are a bit small for running through puddles and stuff, I don't know about you but when its wet outside I'd rather be warm and dry inside. :lol:
