They are great cars but just not as 'bashable' as a Baja, just because of how much damage you can do in terms of $$$$, compared to a Baja

Yeah, very true in a way. They are still very new to the market so there aren't as many cheaper aftermarket parts out yet. But it's not all bad, Losi had a very good idea with the component-shells. If you damage the shell, you only need to replace a small section and not the whole thing. That's +1 over HPI.

I don't know have seen some good videos of them getting abuse.
The shell is the pricey 1 but believe they are real tough
So early stages i would say from what i ahve seen they probably on comparison

Well had some fun with the Losi Yesterday despite the carb freezing up
The VRC pipe is real loud
Got a bit of video not the best
The Losi was running a new motor just running it in so it is running very rich and no more than 3/4 throttle.
5T sandpaddles on the rears mini MX;s from my 5b on the front
You can see very quickly the losi fills up with snow and becomes real heavy with all the extra weight
Going to have to do something about that as it will just fill up with mud and debris

Stock motor is a CY 26cc

Well decided to have a look at doing something about the car filling up with debris!
after its first run the car was absolutely full with snow and other owners have said this is the same when running normally

so here is my answer
Firstly I made a bulkhead out of cardboard

Then cut this out of 2mm plastic sheet which I ordered and fitted to the body shell

The tape is Gorilla tape just to cover up the edges
here it is with the body fitted not the prettiest but fully functional

Not quite masking tape
Gorilla tape is like duct tape on steroids
waterproof super sticky and strong as hell!

I used some 1/4" x 1" aluminium bar I had lying around
I drilled and tapped 3x 6mm holes on the top bar and used a 1/4 "unc bolt for the camera mount
the bottom bar was just 3 holes for the bolts
bolted across the rollcage at the front

I used the GoPro tripod mount
