im looking to get the big bore set, but modelsport don't have them in stock do you know anywhere else?

If its a propper hyper 7 black it should have big bore shocks already .

hyper 7 black comes with 14mm shocks.....and those look like 14mm to me

yep. :yes: .i got em on my 2011 blk edt.. :yes: ..well only 3 now as i snapped one at swindon race track last wk end... :doh:

yea big bores wil fit, losi and hong nor do some awesome shocks which would go on her nicely :thumbsup:

Looks very nice but you need to take of that blue thing on pipe. Black come with 18mm shocks the only step up is 20mm big bores from 7.5 & 9. There are some on eBay new and used hope this helps

Yes they will 100% I've got some on my black. 7.5 and 9 have the same 20mm big bores new you will be looking around 50 quid mark + shock oil if you don't want to use the oil supplied witch is 30wt.

Not sure the blacks come with 18mm? I thought they were 14 or 16mm?


I bought some inferno threaded big bores which seem so much better than my original ones.

The 7 .21 & 7 .28 are 16mm  black & 8.5 are 18mm and 7.5 & 9 are 20mm threaded none are 14mm.
