As above a copper gasket is needed but 2, as you have a x port between the head and
exhaust.

Also get some of thing too

http://www.ebay.co.u...=item20ba5cc913

How to fit with sealent and gaskets

Head
Sealent
Gasket
Sealent
X port
Sealent
Gasket
Sealent
Exhaust :D

I know it sound silly having all that, but it WILL stop the exhaust leaking ;)

another thing that might help is normal hex bolts for header aint the best, i use studs with spring washers & 2x nuts & also use stud lock for the studs. Solid & my pipe never comes loose or leaks :)

Good point! Why have I never heard this on an RC forum before?

On every other manifold I have worked on (no matter what the engine) they have used studs, so why not on 1/5th engines? Heck, they are easy to make too.
