I'm looking to get this with some upgrades like tyres and possibly servos is this a good idea ? Please dont say buy hpi as I haven't got the money.

http://www.rcmodelz....-Baja-Buggy.php

Are there any other recommended upgrades for this ?

Thanks

Nope, get the next one up.

The cheap one is just that, it's a clone of the earliest HPi

The http://www.rcmodelz....RC-2.0-29cc.php gets 6mm shocks, alloy diff case and more, all items you will need.

If you can only afford the cheap one, keep saving, as it'll be a poor intro to large scale.

And servos are pretty sure to be replaced on any large scale as stock are pants
