As the title really anyone know if it can be done? Got the chance of cheap one that's only just run in!
What would need to be done?
Any help or advice will be great as im sick of my .12 not working properly!

I don't think it would fit. And I can't think of how you could make it fit with out rebuilding the whole chassis layout. Power would be crazy though!

that engine will be way to big! not only will it not fit- the extra power would very quickly destroy the mini ST's drive gear, diffs etc...

if they can take a Tenshock 550 on 3s then it will have no problems run a bigger nitro lump :xd:

r46

engine used was force 21
have to make custom engine mount (taller) so can clear pullstart backplate to chassis & header pipe/manifold to clear rear diff housng/rear wing mount

Drill the chassis and plant a good 21 engine or Hyper engine in the Mini ST along with Fastrax engine mounts. Or

use small engine mounts and plant a 18 engine or even a 12 race engine!!!! just like me ;), more than enough or even a 20 engine (small block still). Losi has a small block .20 engine.

You wll get used to the mounts and engines, dont worry mate.

watch this space..

you clearly don't know mini st lol not as simple as that for 21+ install
stock mounts manage any 12,15,18 once rear exhaust port engine

That's why I mentioned "Drilling" R46, i forgot maybe filing bits and bobs  :xd: time for DIY.

Rather than planint a big block just plant a small block and you will fly , escpcially with a race engine like mine's in the short course or go for an 18 engine or a 20 (small block) engine which Losi makes. It all depends on what you want at the end of the day.

Note; The Mini ST and the Hyper 10sc use the same parts/layouts/design (twins)
