Ive seen and heard this can have a LiPo plugged straight in to it from the box. Is this true or is there something else I need or am missing here? Whats a low voltage alarm and do i need one?

also if anyone can reccomend a battery from component shop web site that would be handy. Thanks

Matt

hi fella, yes you can, im preety sure the axial ae2 esc (castle sidewinder with axial badge) is lipo compatible, but if in doubt, get yourself a low volt buzzer, £3 from ebay.

batteries are a little more limiting though. this one fits perfectly in the battery tray though and are great batteries too, http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1423.l2649

hope this helps, gaz

Do you mean lipo alarm?
You don't really need one as it has a lipo low voltage cut off mode.

Hope that helps

As already said, it's lipo compatible as std, but watch out the size of the batteries that you're going to use, quite a few (esp hardcase ones) are bigger (marginally) than the std holder.
