Thunder Tiger UK

Thunder Tiger is extremely excited to become the exclusive licensee to create the RC replica of MINI WRC for celebrating MINI resurrection. We also aim to demonstrate its full competitiveness by providing the RC rally enthusiasts with unbelievable driving experience. Unlike the ordinary chassis of other buggy-based cars, the ER-4 G3 rally game chassis is Thunder Tiger’s brand new design based on our R&D engineer’s creativity. The ER4 G3 represents a brand new rally game platform that includes some revolutionary features such as balanced weight distribution, compact chassis brace unit and other rally characteristics.

thats conflicting, the shell is awesome, but only because it reminds me how awesome the 1:1 mini rally is, it does look kinda toyish somehow.

but its 1/8, so that means they must have either put a bit of effort in underneath or its based on a proper buggy chassis that can actually take off road terrain.

i want to see some more pictures before i make my mind up

its a shame i have a rather strong dislike of the new 'mini' as i quite like the idea of 1/8th scale rally car.

Wonder if they will make a decent shell for it.

This is not going to be based on the MTA 4 or the ST1, that i can promise, its more likely going to be based on the sparrowhawk, a bit like HPI building their 1/8 rally around the 1/10 Bullet

Yup..DeltaPlastik sell 'rally game' shells, which can be fitted over a stock 1/8 buggy chassis. I am in the process of building just such a beast.

Scary thing about DeltaPlastik happens when you check their postage rates..... 30Euro..... Mind you..that covers you up to about 50 shells. So if anyone wants to orde rsome, let me know. Perhaps we can get together and put an order in. I have found a couple of places that sell the shells retail, but all want silly prices. They are all in Italy, and the Italian postal service is apparntly so poor nobody dares use them!
