howcome the firestorm is rated to 3s yet this only says 2s?

Its a different ESC. The E-Firestorm Flux uses the Motiv ESC, this is the Vapor.

the new firestorm use the vapor doesn't it

Ahh, so it is. Not sure about the difference in ratings, might be worth an email to HPI.

I have the new flux with that esc but only ever run on 2s and not probs dont even get hot
