Michael of Revolution Design got in touch to give us a sneak preview of his latest project – a *drumroll please* revolutionary Class One off-road buggy. The hyper realistic 1/7 scale buggy will feature scale suspension components, rear wheel drive, is powered by a standard 4S LiPo battery pack and may feature a couple of gizmos never seen before on a radio controlled vehicle. Michael is currently seeking companies to fund or buy the project so if you are a interested manufacturer, please get in touch with Michael or us .

So what's special about it?
Looks like an average rear mounted motor 2wd stadium made to look like a desert buggy.
(apart from 1/7 scale beginning to look like the next big thing)

HPI are doing a 1/8 one based on the Vorza and Axial have one.

Not sure where the 1/7 scale fits in....

Scale is relative really. Unless you know the dimensions of every existing full size Baja 1000 buggy, its hard to work out the average and thus, the true dimensions to be right on scale.

For example, the Kyosho DRX Rally Cars are 1/9th, the HPI WR8 rally car is 1/8th but the bodies are interchangeable.

Indeed I did!
The joys of using a mobile device!
It is pretty cool, but can't see it being really revolutionary.
