Kyosho are obviously working on a new line of Mini-Z vehicles in the form of the Moto Racer MotoGP bikes. Mini-Z Taiwan report about the Kyosho Mini-Z Moto Racer Yamaha Factory Racing YZR-M1 2011 that may become presented at the upcoming International Toy Fair in Nuremberg and may hit the market in Spring 2012. The 1/18 scale bike will sport a length of 110mm, a height of 65mm and a speed of up to 20km/h meaning a scale speed of 360km/h. The RTR bike is meant to become delivered with everything needed such as 2.4GHz radio system, charger, and battery for a runtime of 8 to 10 minutes.

First reaction: Woooow!

Then on a second look: I can't imagine the picture shown being the real scale bike, it's just too detailed! :)

Must have a gyro...the guy was driving it really slowly in the vid and it stayed controllable and upright....

I just know the price will make me swear a lot....but it does look really sweet! Also going to be indoor use only on smooth surfaces....but it does look just so nice!!!

Wonderful !! it runs like a car, perfectly balanced !!
... I've just seen the  boy from behind at the end of the video, seems to be the same guy on this video :

If it's confirmed I think that mini Z will be equipped with ARX electric gyro, this should explain the balance.
Have a look at this : http://www.armodelli...emid=84&lang=en

Loving that KTM..... nitro motor and exhaust smoke just like the real thing :) That could be where my next bonus goes :)

Slow speed running was always the issue with bikes, as it limited their manouverability so much. You could only turn under power, and that meant fast wide turns only. The more stable to gets,. the easier it is to drive in more places....

Ok, I follow Kyosho's blog (http://kyoshosan.blogspot.com/) and know that this thing uses FHSS and has a 7000 KV brushless motor! It's going to be really hard to decide between this and the 1/24 AWD Lazer ZX-5!

Hmmm, looks a lot more RC than the first post so I guess that was actually a scale model Kyosho used in the press release. Still looks epic!
