Well been doing a little more.
Rollcage mod
Windows
Trimmed engine cover back
And built a 2nd pullstart up with new cord and metal pawl as the first 1 the spring went faulty on it and i had to drill the screw out of the centre of it

No mate just sort the bumper out i think but as i off out on the works do soon think it will be  afew days before i get to do it.

Have stuck the standard gearing on for now. If i get a new pinion before it ready but if not should be a laugh

Well got round to a little bit tonight but as kids in bed had to stop for now
I managed to get a prototype bumper made up. Not quite there as i want it to go under the rear mount but at the moment it goes over.
But have got the basic shape so will make a pattern to bend the bumper over now.





Was trying to use my old bumper as a guide but as couldn't be bother taking it off and i have melted it too when i had a loose exhaust

It will as i picked up my table saw from work to make a wooden mould to bend round

Finally got the bumper finished and made it so i can fit the original rear bumper too.



Decided i wanted to fit the original front bumper too but as i had a chassis brace had to trim the bumper back and bend it up little which i did by heating it





Then i finished putting car together except for pinion which i am waiting on





Had to give it a test start too and 3 pull and it started. No choke needed as i running a chokeless carb.

Hurry up postman with my pinion

Not sure on the shell colour.
I do have a pearl white 1 here too which i might try

I sold mine and bought the silver one from mmr

Hmm maybe. Might run the white 1( as it looks silver from a distance ) and get rid of the black 1 with tray and pods

Well got my gears all done today but think i could do with some hpi bushes for the spur carrier as these are really really tight.
May get a hpi clutch bell too as this 1 was tight for the pinion gpoing on.



Tried my spare shell on it as it was pearl white and think it looks better. so may get another shell or keep this i not decided yet





Now to test it out

Well still not tested it yet but have fitted some shock limit cable on it ( made and sold by me   )
And fitted a Uber front bumper. Ok it scratched like made but is better than the standard front
